The films have a minimum 29% Post-Consumer Recycled (PCR) content.

At Labelexpo, Klear Plastic Ventures (KPV) has introduced PET Heat Shrinkable Films for sleeve labels with a minimum 29% Post-Consumer Recycled (PCR) content.

“Labelexpo Americas is the perfect forum for Klear Plastic Ventures (KPV) to introduce PET Heat Shrinkable Film, from Far Eastern New Century, with a minimum 29% PCR content. This product produced from recycled PET bottles has a 20% smaller CO2 emissions footprint than 100% virgin content film. This is made possible by “melt to film” technology. In one continuous polymer process, the PCR is broken down chemically, re-polymerized with (71%) virgin raw materials and converted into PET shrink film. This technology also produces high, quality virgin PET film at a very competitive cost,” George Pinter, Partner, Klear Plastic Ventures.

The PCR content has been certified by SCS Global Services. Emeryville, CA based SCS Global Services has been providing global leadership in third-party quality, environmental and sustainability verification, certification, auditing, testing, and standards development for three decades.

Ann Arbor, MI-based Klear Plastic Ventures, LLC (KPV) was created by packaging industry veterans with more than 50 years of combined experience in global Procurement, Supply Chain and Business Development.
