From the HP Indigo 6K digital press to the HP Indigo 25K, visitors saw the wide range of product applications available with the digital specialist. As HP experts told L&NW, the company wanted to showcase the wide range of applications available to label printers such as shrink sleeves and flexible packaging.

HP’s latest solutions have been designed to support market requirements for on-demand production, SKU diversification, customization and printing with reduced waste. Since 2016, more than 1,000 HP Indigo label and packaging presses have been installed at converters worldwide.

According to HP, the new 6K press can deliver more applications using higher opacity white for shrink sleeves, new inks including silver, fluorescents, invisible red and green for brand protection applications.

The 6K is fully compatible with HP Indigo’s diverse suite of digital embellishment equipment, which now includes the inline Kurz DM-Jetliner for digital metalization. Kurz was also highlighting these capabilities at its Label Congress booth.

Meanwhile, the HP Indigo 25K digital press has been engineered to help converters meet brand needs with an even more attractive total cost of ownership, the company says. Converters also have access to a wider media range to deliver compostable and recyclable pouches and more choices to create a digital pouch factory.
