09.19.22

FLAG signed six new members in Rosemont, bringing its total to 128, and reconnected with numerous current member and vendor partners.

FLAG (Flexo Label Advantage Group) enjoyed a banner event in Rosemont, IL, USA, as it signed six new members during Labelexpo Americas while also reconnecting with a plethora of current members. The association now boasts 128 members.

Among the FLAG vendor partners exhibiting at the show were UPM Raflatac, Acucote, a Fedrigoni company, ACTEGA, QSPAC, Fujifilm, Label Traxx, Wikoff Color, Omet Americas, GMG Americas, Hybrid Software, CTS Industries, AV Flexologic, and Prati.

In addition to a flurry of activity during Labelexpo, FLAG hosted an exclusive event Monday, September 12. Members were privy to a 90-minute roundtable discussion, where converters discussed real-world challenges. Plus, JC McKay, VP of business development at FLAG, shared exclusive label industry data that was collected from label and packaging converters.

Following the event, more than 70 FLAG members enjoyed dinner at Five Roses Pub in Rosemont, IL, where members and staff had the opportunity to network.

“In-person meetings are invaluable amongst members and our vendor partners," says McKay. "With Labelexpo 2022 offering a centralized location, we wanted to make sure all attending members and vendor partners were able to maximize their time together and work on their businesses, not just in them. Hosting our Peer Group Roundtables and private dinner was the perfect way to kick off the show and bring everyone together in one place.”

FLAG provides opportunities for its members to be more competitive in the marketplace and become stronger companies, without sacrificing their independence. In addition to quarterly savings, FLAG's roundtable events offer label converters an opportunity to connect with others in their space, share advice and discussing industry challenges.

During the Roundtable Event, FLAG also announced that its next Annual Members Meeting will take place in Salt Lake City, UT. As part of the Annual Members Meeting, Traco Packaging will host the members’ tour. The company, which is a division of Traco Manufacturing, is based in Orem, UT. For the past 35 years, this packaging company has provided its customers with packaging equipment and supplies of all varieties.
