Nilpeter USA, based in Cincinnati, OH, USA, will open its doors to the industry in May to introduce the new FB3300A in-line flexographic press to the North and South American converting markets.
In addition to flexo capabilities, the modular press offers rotary screen, hot air and UV drying. According to Nilpeter, more than 30 orders from around the world have been placed for the press, which was introduced at Labelexpo Europe last year.
The open house will be held May 16-17 at Nilpeter’s facility in Cincinnati. Several other industry suppliers will participate in the event and demonstrate their products. These include Fuji’s Enovation Graphic Systems, MacDermid Printing Solutions, RotoMetrics, Water Ink Technologies, Tesa Tape, JM Heaford, and E.C. Shaw.
Enovation Graphic Systems will demonstrate digital computer-to-plate (CTP) processing on the LAVA thermal plate setter. The Nilpeter FB3300A will then use the result of the CTP process and print with MacDermid 200 line screen photopolymer plates.
