Seal-It, of Farmingdale, NY, USA, is now producing shrink sleeves using EarthFirst film material from Plastic Suppliers, which is made from corn-based resins supplied by Natureworks PLA (polylactic acid).
“EarthFirst film is different in that it is made from an annually renewable resource, corn,” says Seal-It President Sharon Lobel. “With our help, our customers can make the decision as to what film is best suited for their needs. Shrink film is Seal-It’s only business, and its always exciting to bring something new to our marketplace.”
Seal-It has been producing shrink labels and tamper-evident bands for the past 20 years. The company prints up to 10 colors in rotogravure or modified flexographic and operate out of two facilities in Farmingdale.
