LGInternational (LGI), a label manufacturer based in Portland, OR, USA, has signed a letter of intent to invest in the Wuxi (China) National High-Tech Industrial Development Zone (WND) through the establishment of operations at the Wuxi Singapore Industrial Park.

“As a leading provider of labeling solutions for technology based industries, LGI has many domestic customers with manufacturing operations in China,” says LGI President Mike Martin. “The new office in Wuxi enables us to better service our in-country customers while expanding our customer base in a region that is experiencing impressive growth in the technology industry.”

LGI recently participated in a ceremony organized by the Wuxi municipal government to promote the WND. The ceremony was held as part of the Wuxi China-Silicon Valley IT Industry Symposium and was hosted by the Wuxi Municipal People’s Government and co-hosted by Wuxi National High-Tech Industrial Development Zone (WND) and North America Chinese Semiconductor Association (NACSA). The event showcased the newest US investments to the area, including six US companies.

LGInternational specializes in labeling products, diecut components and 3D molded parts that are designed and manufactured for technology markets. The company’s CleanMark line of labels, ribbons and printers has been developed for technology based facilities where cleanrooms and controlled environments are common.
