Nashua Corporation, a manufacturer of labels and thermal and specialty papers based in Nashua, NH, USA, has announced its acquisition of 35 percent of the shares of Tec Print LLC, a minority-owned business enterprise located in Memphis, TN, USA.

Tec Print is a minority owned printer of lottery tickets and labels. The company also has the capability of printing paper rolls, tickets, brochures, business cards, posters, and signs. “We are excited about our partnership, which gives Tec Print access to Nashua’s technology and expertise in the label manufacturing business through an alliance that we are confident will generate growth for both companies,” says J.W. Gibson, president of Tec Print.

Nashua Corporation (NASDAQ: NSHA) manufactures a variety of specialty imaging products and services. Products include thermal coated papers, pressure sensitive labels, bond, point of sale, ATM and wide format papers, entertainment tickets, and ribbons for use in imaging devices.

“Through our investment in Tec Print, Nashua is establishing a working partnership with a company that has a well earned reputation for customer service,” says Tom Brooker, president and CEO of Nashua. “The agreement also provides our customers and prospects with the ability to purchase Nashua print supplies from a minority owned enterprise. In addition, we believe the partnership will provide the long-term ability for Tec Print to profitably grow its label and printing business.”
