Mark Andy, celebrating its 60th anniversary as a manufacturer of printing and converting equipment for the narrow web industry, held a big birthday party early this month at its headquarters in Chesterfield, MO, USA. More than 500 people came to the celebration, which was called “Diamond Jubilee”.
Joining the party was Mark Andrews Jr., son of the founder, who led the company through many of its successful years. Andrews addressed the crowd during the ceremony with a speech about the company’s early history. One of the highlights of the day’s event was a presentation by Chesterfield Mayor John Nations of a proclamation to honor Mark Andy for its dedication to the city and the region.
