Connemara Converting, a converter of specialty paper, film and board products based in Bolingbrook, IL, USA, has announced a 90,000 square foot expansion of its production plant, and the installation of a Marquip Sheet Wizard board/paper precision sheeter.

The new sheeter, utilizing Marquip’s dual rotary knife technology, provides Connemara Converting with the capability to produce large format sheets (65” x 82”) of text and board grades, and complements the two existing sheeters. The company also has installed a Pemco 66 automatic ream wrapping line targeting the digital format sheets – both paper and film – in cut size sheets up to 12” x 18”.

Connemara Converting, established in 1998, has 180,000 total footage at the Bolingbrook site and provides contract converting services to the trade, as well as supplying coated and uncoated paper and board products to a variety of users including merchants, printers, envelope converters, and folding carton producers.
