GEW, a UK based manufacturer of UV curing systems, has announced the appointment of Punto Luce Srl and Celi S.a.s. to support its growing activities in the Italian and Swiss printing markets.
Punto Luce manufactures equipment for the production of photopolymer printing plates and has been established in the graphic arts industry for more than 20 years. Sales Manager Daniele Olive will be responsible for the sales of GEW UV curing systems through the company’s network of agents in Italy. Punto Luce plans to establish a new company early in 2007 that will deal exclusively with UV curing products from systems to spare parts.
Celi S.a.s has been in existence for more than 30 years, and in the past 10 has specialized in providing technical service to the graphic arts industry, plus after-sales support through Carlo Garancini. Celi will provide installation and support for GEW UV systems supplied throughout both Italy and Switzerland.
“We continue to see the growth and acceptance of GEW UV systems in Italy with the need to provide solutions to curing problems in both the label industry and other sectors of the market,” says Franco Pagano, GEW’s sales manager for Southern Europe.
