Inspired by the success of its industrial manufacturing seminar focusing on offset printing workflow in last year, Gallus has added a seminar on flexo sleeve workflows, to be held March 21 and 22 at its German manufacturing site close to Frankfurt. Gallus is a Switzerland based manufacturer of narrow web presses.
The seminar is titled “Flexo Sleeve — The Gallus S-class embedded in an efficient production workflow”. In addition to talks by industry experts the company will present a live demonstration of a packaging decoration workflow based around a Gallus EM 410/510 S press.
The demonstration will focus on the incorporation of sleeve technology for printing cylinders and anilox rollers, which helps minimize setup and changeover times. Optimized use of automation allows sleeves to be replaced quickly without tools, while a chambered doctor blade means that ink changes can be carried out quickly and easily.
