MPI Label Systems, of University Park, IL, USA, has been recognized by Berry Plastics as the first Berry Exceptional Supplier Team (B.E.S.T.) award recipient in the labels division. The award is a result of MPI’s outstanding product quality, continuous on-time delivery and cost-saving ideas, according to John Holley, MPI Illinois general manager.

“Being nominated as a ‘BEST’ supplier is quite an honor,” says Holley. “Our employees work hard to meet and exceed the quality expectations that all our customers have. To be showcased like this means our hard work is paying off.”

MPI was presented with a trophy for excellence at a dinner held by Berry. Present from MPI were President Randy Kocher, Account Executive Patrick Sucher, Plant Manager Tonya Harper-Jones, and John Holley. MPI Label Systems has been a Berry supplier for the past 20 years.

Established in 1968, MPI Label Systems has grown to more than 500 employees, eight manufacturing facilities and 35 sales offices. MPI specializes in flexographic digital pressure sensitive labels, heat shrink sleeve, rollfed wrap labels, booklets, coupons, thermal transfer, and RFID labels. MPI’s Equipment Division is an authorized, licensed sales and service agent for CTM and Label-Aire label application equipment.
