PTS and Mark Andy announce business alliance

March 6, 2007

Narrow web press manufacturer Mark Andy and Printing Technology Services Inc. (PTS), of Clearwater, FL, USA, a supplier of variable data inkjet printing systems, have entered into an alliance whereby PTS’ JetFlex inkjet printing systems can be integrated into any Mark Andy flexographic press. The JetFlex system incorporates digital printing products using Hewlett-Packard TIJ 2.5 thermal ink jet technology.

“We’re excited about the possibilities this relationship opens up for our customers around the world,” says Curtis Miller, president of PTS. “As a result of this partnership, flexographic printers will be able to print both static and variable data in one pass, saving time and money, and opening up new business opportunities for our customers. Customers also benefit from the increased confidence of choosing a product that is endorsed by the market leader, which is Mark Andy.”
