Charter Films adds two blown film lines in expanded plant

April 11, 2007

Charter Films Inc., of Superior, WI, USA, has completed a major plant expansion of its existing manufacturing and warehouse facilities. The company, which specializes in extruded blown film, has also added two new coex blown film lines.

The blown film lines are equipped with features that make them among the most advanced lines of their kind in the world, according to sales and marketing director Brian Beuning, and are scheduled to be operational early in the second quarter of this year.

The privately held extrusion company sells a variety of coex and mono-layer films, and supplies non barrier sealant films to the converter market for use in flexible packaging, labels and tag stock manufacturers as well as narrow web printers.
