Wilson Manufacturing, a rotary die manufacturer based in St. Louis, MO, USA, has completed a 35,000 square foot expansion that increases its total square footage to 81,000. New sales and administration offices were included with the expansion, along with additional production space and a new demo/training pressroom.
In 1998 the company moved from a 15,000 square foot facility to its current location, which enclosed 46,000 square feet at that time.
The demo and training pressroom will be used for continued training of its customer support group, according to Wade Fouts, vice president of sales. It offers the opportunity to advance the knowledge the support group with day-to-day problems typically encountered by converters. In addition, the area will be used for testing and analyzing new substrates being introduced into the market.
“This expansion provides the needed floor space to explore new processes for manufacturing of our current products, as well as new product development without interference to our current production,” Fouts says. “Our mission is to provide the highest quality products, service and technical support to our customers.”
