Xeikon and partners plan open houses in Europe

May 15, 2007

In advance of LabelExpo Europe 2007, digital press maker Xeikon has organized a series of open houses with Artwork Systems, UPM Raflatac, Deixis, GM, Time Harvest and Gerhardt. The events will take place in Belgium (June 6), Denmark (June 12), the UK (June 20), and Austria (June 27).

At each of the locations, Xeikon will give a demonstration on a Xeikon 330 digital press with an inline finishing unit. The open houses will also offer tabletop stands of business tools as well as workflow systems: the Xeikon X-800 digital front-end; the Artwork Systems workflow solution; the Deixis web application and the Time Harvest Digiquote.

“The increasing demands of today’s market leave too many questions unanswered," says Filip Weymans, business development manager for labels and packaging at Punch Graphix, the Xeikon parent company. "By opening our doors in a number of countries across Europe, we want to unveil the hidden pieces of the puzzle to label printers in their proximity and in their own language. Moreover, the partners we have invited to participate in the open houses bring added value and the benefits of a digital printing workflow to light.

Those interested in attending any of the Xeikon open houses (there is no charge), visit and complete the form.
