AVTs Helios in use at 14 Labelexpo booths

Advanced Vision Technology (AVT) has achieved a high degree of success with its Print Vision/Helios 100 percent web inspection system, so much so that the system is in use at 14 different booths this year at Labelexpo Europe.

Advanced Vision Technology (AVT) has achieved a high degree of success with its Print Vision/Helios 100 percent web inspection system, so much so that the system is in use at 14 different booths this year at Labelexpo Europe. The company also announced that it has passed the 400 mark for installations of the system since 2004.

The Helios system can detect defects that include color variations, misregistration and misprints as soon as they occur.

The company also announced its recent acquisition of Graphic Microsystems Inc. (GMI) from Dover Diversified for $33 million. GMI is a manufacturer of pressroom automation equipment, including closed loop color control systems, color management and reporting software and remote digital ink fountain control systems.
