The Comco C2 press, unveiled last year in Chicago, made its European debut at Labelexpo Europe today. The press, available in narrow and midweb widths, is capable of printing labels, flexible packaging and folding cartons.
Paul Brauss, president of Mark Andy, Comco’s parent company, said the press is characterized by instant changeovers, “virtual offset print quality and a sleek, ergonomic design.” It features the I-Drive (Intelligent Drive System) that combines controllability with simplified operation. The servo driven press also includes plug-and-play print and converting units and sleeve technology for quick handling of job changeovers.
