Domino Printing Sciences unveiled its latest serialized and variable data inkjet printing offerings at Labelexpo. Alongside its K-Series digital drop on demand print technology, the company is demonstrating the A-Series continuous inkjet printer, and the Windows-based Editor GT, its in-line data management controller.
The K-Series can be installed to complement existing offset or flexo presses for overprinting of numbers, graphics, bar codes, and addresses. For standalone applications, the compact printheads can be accommodated on slitter-rewinders. Heads can be stitched together to increase the print area as required. The flagship K200 printer offers 316 dpi printing at 90 meters per minute; where line speeds are lower, resolution can be increased to 520 dpi.
