Bonset America has announced plans to increase PETG heat shrinkable film capacity by installing a new extrusion line in its manufacturing facility located in Brown Summit, NC, USA.

The new line will be operational by late 2008 and is expected to increase annual capacity by 20 million pounds, allowing Bonset America to address the growing global demand for PETG heat shrinkable films.

Toshio Awatsuji, president of Bonset, says, “We are pleased to have this new line capacity. It is essential in fulfilling our responsibility as a global leader in the industry. The new line will be the world’s largest and will incorporate state-of the-art technology to enable us to support our customers with improved quality and productivity.”

Bonset America manufactures heat shrinkable films designed for use in full body shrink sleeve labels, bundle packaging and tamper evident applications.
