Hammer Packaging wins 2007 Rochester Business Ethics Award

Hammer Packaging, based in Rochester, NY, USA, has been named a recipient of the 2007 Rochester Business Ethics Award.

Hammer Packaging, based in Rochester, NY, USA, has been named a recipient of the 2007 Rochester Business Ethics Award. Hammer won in the large company category for firms with 250 employees or more. Established in 1912, Hammer is a privately-held packaging printer of sheetfed offset, web offset and flexographic packaging. Core products produced include cut and stack labels, in-mold labels, shrink sleeves, roll-on shrink-on labels, rollfed labels, pressure sensitive labels, and flexible packaging.

“This award is a clear recognition that our culture is deeply rooted in our five shared values of integrity, respect, trust, credibility, and continuous improvement," says James E. Hammer, president and CEO. “It also reaffirms my sound belief that the right people are our most important asset.”

By winning this award, Hammer will automatically be entered in a national award competition: the 2008 American Business Ethics Award.
