Kocher + Beck, a manufacturer of flexible dies headquartered in Germany, has acquired American Die Technology of Suwanee, GA, USA. The acquisition gives the company production facilities with more than 100 employees in the US. Kocher + Beck has had a US presence in Lenexa, KS, for many years.
ADT was founded in 1985 in Atlanta, GA, USA. Today the company is 30 miles north of Atlanta in a 52,000 square foot plant. Kocher + Beck will manufacture hard tooling at the Suwanee location/
The product range includes engraved rotary tools for various applications, which consists
of EDM, MARATHON, AD2, Platinum, AD1 and Thermalizer dies. In addition to rotary dies, the company manufactures hot stamps, removable blade sheeter/perforators, anvils and pressure rolls, printing cylinders, gears, equalizer pressure monitors, multi-scorer units and magnetic cylinders in Georgia.
All flexible dies are manufactured in Kansas.
