West Coast seminar to address top flexo issues

The Western Flexo & Label Association will present four seminars on April 23 focusing on green issues, waste management, press technology, and print management software.

Four seminars aimed at furthering the knowledge of label converters will take place on the afternoon of April 23 at the Four Points Sheraton Hotel in Pleasanton, CA, USA. The event, which runs from 1 to 7:30 p.m., is sponsored by the Western Flexo & Label Association.

Dan Magallanes of Pitman Company will moderate the sessions, which feature a wide range of speakers from various industry disciplines. Topics are: "Is Green your Color? How do you go green, and why should you"; "Waste Management: Are you in compliance?"; "New Press Technology: sleeve and servo"; and "Print Management Software for Flexo."

The event also will feature a vendor forum featuring Keene Technology, Mark Andy, Tailored Solutions, Pitman, EFI, Nilpeter, Arjobex/Polyart, Crown Flexo Graphics, Atlas Die, Fluid Ink Technology, and MACtac.
