So far in 2008, GMG has been able to increase sales by slightly more than 10 percent compared to the same period of 2007 (and almost 30 percent compared to the corresponding period of 2006). GMG reports its sales in Asia more than doubled in comparison with the corresponding period of the previous year, and sales growth of 10 percent and more was likewise recorded in the regions D/A/CH, France, Benelux, Nordic, the Middle East and the Americas.
“We are once again extremely pleased with this sales trend,” says Robert Weihing, CEO of GMG GmbH & Co. KG. “And we also have an optimistic outlook on the rest of 2008 – not least because of the deals initiated at Drupa. By further strengthening our sales team and clearly focusing our sales activities, we will continue to accentuate the strengths of GMG in the second half of 2008, and this will also have a positive influence on the coming year 2009.”
