Mark Andy’s manufacturing operation in Milford, OH, USA, has been honored by the state’s governor, Ted Strickland, for its dedication to export related projects. An annual honor, the Governor's Excellence in Exporting Award is presented to companies and organizations that have increased the number of export related jobs in Ohio, or heightened awareness of exporting as a vital component of the state's economy.
Mark Andy was considered and awarded for its research in international markets, dedication to these markets by the establishment of a substantial network of distributors and agents worldwide, and its growing volume of international sales in recent years.
The Ohio facility primarily manufactures Comco branded printing presses. The company says that 25 percent of the staff is dedicated to exporting opportunities, including marketing, sales, manufacturing and shipping.
“We are honored to receive this award from Gov. Strickland and the Ohio Office of Global Development,” says Paul Brauss, Mark Andy’s president. “As Mark Andy continues to successfully procure international projects, we are further dedicated to expanding our worldwide presence, insuring future export growth and success.”
In addition to manufacturing the Comco brand of printing presses, the Milford facility is the source of UVT branded ultraviolet curing solutions and the Mark Andy VSR line of inspection rewinders.
