BST Pro Mark introduces seven new inspection and web guide systems

Super HandyScan 4000 adds new features with print process management.

BST Pro Mark, which markets several web inspection systems, web guides, register controls, and other equipment, rolled out seven new products at Labelexpo Americas. The company spotlighted improvements in its HandyScan line of video inspection systems, producing the Super HandyScan 4000.

The new unit features touch screen graphic interface combined with Virtual Repeat technology and color monitoring “at a price point never before available,” said John Thome, vice president of marketing.

Also new is the line of compact web guides, suitable for narrow web machines of all kinds, featuring easy replacement of old guides with new digital technology.

Other new products include the Shark 4000 LeX and Shark 4000 100 percent inspection systems for presses and rewinders; an inline spectrodensitometer and densitometer for flexo, gravure and offset presses; Pro Sleeve web width measurement that monitors lay-flat size during production, and the AR4000 register control.
