GEW is showcasing its e-System range of UV lampheads with energy saving power supplies that offer the combined benefits of more UV output, low running costs and reduced CO2 emissions.
"Increasingly our customers are being asked to reduce CO2 emissions and they can do this by simply replacing existing UV systems running on transformer power supplies with electronic ones. They will not only save running costs, but will increase UV output and contribute towards making their own manufacturing operation greener," said Brian Wenger, president, GEW Inc.
The company also introduced its new e-System Inert atmosphere line for the narrow web market for curing inks and coatings. The system enables the use if inks and coating chemistry with reduced levels of low molecular chemistry, thus minimizing the risks of taint and odor migration from the packaging.
In addition, GEW is featuring its SEEcure on-line UV monitoring system. This system is a fully integrated UV lamp output monitoring sysystem that runs with the latest generation of GEW's e-Brick controls.
