RotoMetrics has a new president. The recently acquired die and tooling manufacturer is now headed by Michael Bryant. With a background in mechanical engineering, Bryant has “always been associated with high precision tooling and gearing,” he told L&NW. “A lot of the principles and concepts I’ve become familiar with throughout my career carry over well to this business. Most recently, Bryant was president and CEO of Precision Parts International, based in Michigan, USA.
Bryant’s plans include “keeping RotoMetrics customer focused. It is essential that we listen to what our customers want. We expect them to ask us to move with them into new territories.” Though RotoMetrics has a global presence, most of its business is in North America. “We need to make it more balanced globally,” Bryant said.
RotoMetrics also presents its new Multi-Score flexible dies at Labelexpo Americas. The folding carton dies use innovative creasing technoogy to provide much greater creasing and folding performance. It combines patented scoring technology with a flexible die that runs on a magnetic cylinder.
