September 11, 2008

Both new products are water based acrylic PSAs.

OMNOVA Solutions, based in Chester, SC, USA, is introducing two new experimental adhesives at Labelexpo. The two new products being showcased are the LDP 182-22 water based acrylic PSA and the XL 020-630-57.

"The LDP 182-22 is an excellent permanent adhesive for a wide range of substrates. It exhibits outstanding adhesion to low energy surfaces and water/humidity resistance," said Timothy Saddow , senior market development manager, Tape and Adhesives. The LDP 182-22 is recommended for clear filmic labels, food and beverage, and health and beauty applications.

Experimental XL 020-630-57 is a permanent adhesive for tapes, labels, decals, films and graphics. Saddow said the product offers high clarity UV stability and good PVC plasticizer resistance.
