Mark Andy focused attention at Labelexpo to its new 2200 servo press, an upgrade to the widely popular model that the company has produced for years. In addition, it is showing a print station from the new Comco C1 ProGlide, a packaging press. The press manufacturer launched its MAX program last year, a service entity for the company’s Mark Andy, Comco, and UVT brands. According to Mary Sullivan, director of global marketing, “MAX is the largest customer service and support group in the industry.” Mark Andy had seven of its VSR rewinders located at various booths throughout Labelexpo. The slitter rewinders now feature controls from Rockwell Automation, which Sullivan said improve on operator interface.
