Xeikon, a manufacturer of digital color presses, and RBCOR, a distributor of photopolymer printing plates, photopolymer plate processing equipment and ancillary items, have announced the formation of a joint referral partnership program. Through the partnership, RBCOR will be able to offer its clients the next step in the move to digital printing by offering the Xeikon 3300 and Xeikon 3000 digital label presses. In turn, Xeikon will be able to further strengthen its position in the expanding digital labels and packaging market.
"We are thrilled to enter into this partnership with RBCOR. They are a true pioneer in the labels and packaging space," says Michael V. Ring, vice president of sales and chief marketing officer of Xeikon's North American operations. "We are confident that this partnership will further strengthen the market position of both our companies and allow us to better serve our customers."
RBCOR is governed by two fundamental values, according to Michelle Garza, the company’s general manager. “First and foremost, we focus on supplying the highest quality products and services, always delivering exactly what is promised with special emphasis on personal service. Second, we strive to drive down and contain all costs, ensuring the highest systems performance in the most cost effective manner. By forming this partnership, we will be able to expand our product offerings, and our customers will have the opportunity to utilize the unique capabilities of the Xeikon technology to grow their business."
The Xeikon 3300 has a top speed of 63 feet per minute and a monthly duty cycle of 2,300,000 feet, and is targeted at short to medium print runs and just-in-time jobs. The Xeikon 3000 represents the entry-level counterpart of the Xeikon 3300. It has a top speed of 31.5 feet per minute and a monthly duty cycle of 1,500,000 feet. The Xeikon 3000 can be upgraded to the Xeikon 3300 once the user is ready to go to the next level.
RBCOR, based in San Marcos, CA, USA, distributes Tokyo Ohka Kogyo's flexo, letterpress and molding plates, Toray water wash flexo plates, processing equipment and ancillary items. Xeikon, headquartered in Belgium, has North American offices in Itasca, IL, USA.
