MPS, a label and packaging press manufacturer based in The Netherlands, announced two recent sales to label converters in the United States.
The Label Group of Meyers Printing Companies, based in Minneapolis, MN, acquired an MPS EF 330 press. The machine is a multi-substrate UV flexographic printing press equipped for combination printing with multi-web processing capabilities.
An MPS press also was acquired by Dion Label Printing of Westfield, MA. The machine is an EFh410 UV flexo “hybrid” press, fully servo driven as all MPS presses are, with a web width of 16" and eight print stations. It has the ability to use both print sleeves and print cylinders, and features rubber coated, free spinning impression rolls for reduced dot gain.
MPS America, the North American arm of the company, is based in Brookfield, WI, USA.
