Edale Ltd., a British manufacturer of narrow web printing and converting presses, has recently delivered an Alpha machine to Zultec, of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The press is the sixth Edale machine installed at Zultec, and the third Alpha press.

Zultec, a diverse company, is active in end-of-line packaging, weighing, marking, labeling, food processing, and retail management. Established in 1984, the company has extended its operations throughout Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Pakistan, Canada, and the United Kingdom.

“Despite the many Alpha copies on the market, the ‘real Alpha’ is by far still the undisputed best," says Ali Khan of Zultec. “Our production is very slick and relies on presses which offer total reliability, with excellent support from the manufacturer. Our presses have to withstand 24 hours a day, 7 days a week operation, hence machine quality is a must, otherwise we could not guarantee the overall service to our customers, who rely on just-in-time delivery of labels. This service gives our company a clear differentiation and for this reason our choice for another Edale press documents its reliability and service to us.”
