Associated Labels goes digital with HP Indigo

The Vancouver converter manufactures labels, shrink sleeves and flexible packaging.

Associated Labels, Vancouver, BC, Canada, has launched its Digital Printing Division by adding an industrial digital printing press from Hewlett-Packard.

“Introducing the HP Indigo Press ws4500 into our fleet of industry leading presses allows us to provide leading digital solutions for short runs of high-quality labels and packaging with fast turnaround,” says Shaun Ashworth, COO of Associated Labels. “We are providing the most advanced presses to our clients, with on-demand customized printing solutions.”

The new press allows Associated Labels to offer instant proofs and prototypes identical to its clients’ final products. “By offering virtually limitless substrate compatibility and exceptional print quality,” Ashworth notes, “Associated Labels will ensure that our customers’ brands stand out in the marketplace.” The HP Indigo Press ws4500 will print up to seven colors, including spot colors, white, and fluorescent colors.
