ETI Converting reports high January sales

February 10, 2009

An African company and an Israeli converter have acquired the companyís machines, which allow for the in-house manufacturer of PS laminates from raw materials.

ETI Converting, a Canadian manufacturer of self-adhesive machines for the label market, says that 2009 is off to a great start. The company has announced a record January, in which it sold four machines.

“Three of the machines, one Cohesio and two Metronomes, were sold to an important group in the Ivory Coast and Ghana,” says François Bayzelon, chairman, “and the fourth machine, a Cohesio, was bought by a leader in the label and packaging industry in Israel.”

He adds that February is also looking very promising for ETI, noting that the company is in the midst of closing deals with companies in Africa and Europe.

“With steady price increases for self-adhesive material, printers are turning to technologies that allow them to reduce their costs and increase their profit margins, and this is where ETI shines, selling over 70 machines worldwide to this effect,” Bayzelon says.

ETI manufactures machines that allow the converter to create self-adhesive materials inline from raws materials, as well as flexographic presses.
