Info Label acquires new HP Indigo WS6000 digital press

April 6, 2009

The company’s digital presses now can accommodate short, medium and long runs, as well as flexible packaging, its president says.

Info Label Inc., of Clifton Park, NY, USA, is one of the first label converters to acquire the newest of HP Indigo’s digital presses: the WS6000. The industrial machine, first announced last year at Labelexpo Americas, joins Info Label’s HP Indigo ws4500 digital press and two combination flexo presses.

“The HP Indigo WS6000 now enables us to offer medium to long runs of digital labels and flexible packaging with exacting registration and eco-friendly benefits that digital printing affords,” says Mark Dufort, president of Info Label. “Our fleet of Indigo presses now covers the spectrum of short, medium and long run labels, flexible packaging as well as prototypes and mockups, and as our digital customers’ needs for longer runs grow, we provide the logical solution.

“Now in our 15th year, Info Label was created out of a desire to produce high end labels while still maintaining a responsive and personal touch to the companies we serve,” adds Dufort.

Info Label’s digital finishing capabilities include rotary hot stamp, varnishing, lamination and rotary diecutting.
