Tailored Label Products Inc. (TLP), of Menomonee Falls, WI, USA, has been named the Waukesha County Small Business of the Year. It was saluted for excellence in its treatment of stakeholders, including customers, employees and the community.
“Our employees are always working hard to develop and implement new production methods,” says Mike Erwin, co-owner and president of TLP. “Their dedication, along with significant investments in innovating printing technologies and customization of existing equipment, has driven our product innovations and production excellence.”
The label printing and bonding company has grown to $12 million in annual sales and 64 employees. For more than two decades, TLP has carved out a niche as a manufacturer of custom engineered labels for many markets, such as outdoor power equipment, biomedical, medical device, electronic, appliance, motor, and specialty diecut adhesives for bonding applications.
In 2008, TLP was named one of the "Best Places to Work in Southeastern Wisconsin" by Milwaukee magazine and The Management Resource Association for the second time, and was listed on the Inc. 5000 list.
