Drent Goebel BV is declared bankrupt

The bankruptcy affects Drent Goebel in the Netherlands; so far the North American operation is still open.

Press manufacturer Drent Goebel B.V. announced that it has been declared bankrupt. The bankruptcy involves Drent Goebel B.V. in the Netherlands.

The receiver, H.C. Brandsma, is currently researching all possibilities to take further action in the best possible interest of the various stakeholders of Drent Goebel B.V. Stakeholders of the company will be informed separately as soon as possible.

Drent Goebel B.V. employed 118 people. The company specialized in the development and marketing of rotary printing presses for the graphic arts industry, specifically for the commercial printing, direct mail, packaging, and label printing markets.

A spokesperson at Drent Goebel North America, based in Volo, IL, USA, said that it was open for business but had not yet received any direction from headquarters in Europe about its future.
