The expansion doubles the size of the company’s Connecticut facility.

GPA, a supplier of substrates for digital printing based in McCook, IL, USA, has expanded its GPA East operation to twice its previous size, enabling it to meet demand for specialty substrates on the East Coast of the United States. The eastern facility is in Plainville, CT.

The newly expanded facility has tripled the warehouse space and increased dock space, and includes energy efficient lighting and a larger office area.

“We have invested in our business to continue to strengthen the services and solutions weprovide our customers to help them succeed,” says Mike McConville, Eastern Region general manager. “Our goal is to be the absolute best choice for our customers focused on growth utilizing digital technology, such as the HP Indigo, as well as targeting specialty applications for printing offset on plastics, films and pressure sensitive paper,” he adds.

GPA supplies coated and uncoated papers, pressure sensitive and specialty papers, synthetic films and certified substrates for HP Indigo digital presses.
