The inks offer efficient printing, easy print finishing and optimized cure.

Sun Chemical, the world’s largest ink manufacturer, has launched SolarFlex Nova, a new generation of ink designed to meet evolving narrow web flexo market demands. SolarFlex Nova joins the Solaris system of products for the narrow web sector.

The new line offers such benefits as quick makeready, efficient printing, easy print finishing, optimized cure, and enhanced hold-out and adhesion. An advanced ink management system works with associated color tools and the Solaris ColorSat dispenser to provide the exact amount of ink for a job.

“Sun Chemical recognizes the special requirements of the narrow web printers and the growth opportunities for this market,” says Jonathan Sexton, European sales director for narrow web. “The launch of SolarFlex Nova is a continuation of that commitment as it addresses the needs of the market by offering increased productivity, versatility and value in narrow web printing applications.”
