Rotoflex, a manufacturer of inspection/rewind equipment recently acquired by Mark Andy, introduces a 100 percent inspection system that is available on most Rotoflex finishing systems. According to the company, the LT Web Inspection system provides high-quality inspection at a competitive price.

According to Rotoflex Product Manager Dan Dancer, the new system will – based on pixel resolution – detect defects such as broken and missing characters, registration of print and diecut, color deviations, and ink splashes. With a patent pending diffused lighting component, the LT Web Inspection system can also function with foil decorated print, holograms, embossed/debossed and reflective/metalized surfaces.

“We are excited to offer this new, high-value inspection system in addition to existing advanced inspection options,” says Dancer. “With an optional web guide including splicing table and mount, the LT Web Inspection system will enable our clients to deliver 100 percent inspection at a very reasonable price.”

The proprietary system is immediately available on new 13” (330mm) and 17” (430mm) Rotoflex VSI, VLI, DSI and DLI models. Current customers may choose to enhance existing models with more information available through the MAX customer service and support team.
