Stork Prints sells subsidiary in Germany

March 29, 2010

The move is part of the company’s plan to narrow its focus to its core capabilties and products.

Stork Prints, the Netherlands based manufacturer of rotary screen technology, has decided to sell AKL Flexotechnik to the German company Inometa Technologie GmbH & Co.KG. The divestment will be effective as of May, 2010.

"This direction will allow us to further focus on our core of rotary screen technology, digital laser engraving and digital printing for the graphics and textile industries," says Stork Prints CEO Dick Joustra. "We are confident that with our choice of Inometa, the customers of AKL will benefit from their knowledge of rollers and sleeves."
