Flexo Wash reports strong performance in Q1

April 5, 2010

The anilox and parts cleaning equipment manufacturer has sold units to 14 packaging graphics companies so far this year.

Although the economy has been in a slow down, Flexo Wash LLC, headquartered in Louisville, KY, USA, says it hasn’t seen significant changes. The company manufactures equipment to clean anilox rolls and other components used in narrow and wide web flexography and rotogravure.

According to President Mike Potter, the company has installed or will install equipment at the following US locations since the first of the year: Alcan, Shelbyville, TN; Pep Direct, Wilton, NH; Hunter Douglas, Denver, CO; Yellowstone Plastics, Idaho Falls, ID; Pak-Sher Company, Gilgore, TX; Graphic Packaging, Golden, CO; KDV Labels, Waukesha, WI; Belmark, DePere, WI, MeadWestvaco, Chicago, IL, Kopco Graphics, Bradenton, FL; Kendall Packaging, Jefferson, WI; Trinidad Benham, Mineola, TX; and Larsen Converting, Green Bay, WI. Equipment also was installed at Printpack in Mexico.

“People want value for their money,” Potter says. “They see our products for the narrow and wide web, and after we demonstrate their capabilities, customers understand how they can save time and money. Our ‘plug and play’ technology lets a company clean press parts in a few minutes and recover anilox cell volume completely with just a push of a button.”
