The AVFlex 8000, a new plate processor designed for lower volume prepress departments with high quality standards, has been introduced by Anderson & Vreeland (A&V) for processing of solvent-wash plates up to 12” x 18” in size. The multi-function system includes a two-brush rotary washout unit with a SmartPanel processor, exposure section, dryer, and plate finisher.

Features include automatic drum positioning with forward and reverse job for easy removal of plates. The exposure/oven/finisher is equipped with independent digital timers, a three-drawer purge oven with exhaust and an independent drawer for light finishing.
