MACtac Printing Products is launching a comprehensive line of durable films, offering 12 new products that cover a range of applications requiring high-performance labels that last, and often outlast, the life of the end product. The company is also showcasing at the show its INDIE line of certified digital labelstocks.
Designed to address the extreme application needs of several markets, including lawn and garden, chemical drums, appliance and nameplate, and wet-cell batteries, MACtac’s durable films are tested and recognized by industry standards, such as Underwriters laboratories and British Standard 5609.
“Our durable film solutions were developed with the converter and end-use requirements in mind, and the expertise and technical support backing our product development carries over to the superior and personalized customer service programs we offer our customers,” said Mike Marasch, senior marketing director, MACtac Printing Products. “Our expanding durable film solutions portfolio allows us to bring converters new ways of looking at pressure-sensitive technology as they continue to expand their businesses and pursue new revenue streams.”
Continuing to enhance its INDIE line of certified stocks to help converters address the latest advances in digital press technology, MACtac Printing Products recently received RIT certification for four of its INDIE film labelstocks on the HP Indigo WS6000 press, and the products are on display at the show. The pre-treated film labelstocks alleviate the need for converters to apply their own topcoats on the press and are available with a variety of adhesive options to meet most labeling application needs.
