DPM introduces new near edge ribbon formulation

Digital Printing Media (DPM), a member of Korim Co. Ltd., has introduced a wax/resin near edge ribbon formulation called EM211.The ribbon is designed as an economical solution for high print performance on a broad range of materials for flexible packaging and labeling applications.

Printing applications for the ribbon include date/lot codes, bar codes, small and large text, and graphics at speeds up to 24ips. The formulation is designed to meet or exceed OEM specifications and is compatible with near edge printers such as: Markem SmartDate, Videojet, Bell-Mark, Norwood Jaguar, TEC, and Avery/Novexx.
