Schober USA has released a color brochure detailing its VentCut and VentPerf micro-perforation needling and cutting equipment. Designed for micro-cutting and micro-perforation, the products enhance ventilation, moisture release and expansion capabilities of agricultural and consumer goods packaging as well as technical materials. They are useful for packaging, plastic floating row covers, wallpaper, bakery bags, animal food, cement and fertilizer bags, and nonwoven products, including hospital gowns, heated hospital blankets, bandages, smocks, lab coats, and more.
The product lines can be integrated into inline processes, or equipped with optional unwind and rewind for stand-alone operations. VentCut and Vent-Perf, which can be web- or motor-driven at speeds of up to 600 fpm, are ideal for paper and film-like web materials. Custom designs and special tools are available for materials such as foam, aluminum and more.
Copies of the literature are available at www.schoberusa.com.
