Gallus Inc., the US arm of the Swiss press manufacturer, opened its US Road Show with its first stop in Atlanta, GA, following its introduction at Labelexpo Americas in Chicago. The Road Show is designed to introduce the Gallus ECS 340 label printing press to the North American marketplace, one stop at a time. The Atlanta destination was chosen because of interest from a potential customer who saw the press at Labelexpo and wanted to spend more time learning about its advantages.
The Gallus ECS 340 is designed as an affordable flexographic press with a granite core. It features easy setup and a short web path for cost-efficient label printing. The press has individual servo drives and front-loading sleeve systems to reduce labor and material waste. In addition, the granite core, along with an integral water cooling system, gives the press a long service life and makes it quieter and more stable than other presses.
