Hanita selects HMS for narrow web North American sales

December 20, 2010

Hutchison will distribute Hanita’s topcoated polyester label facestock to labelstock manufacturers across the continent.

Israel-based Hanita Coatings, a supplier of topcoated polyester label face material to labelstock manufacturers worldwide, has chosen Hutchison Miller Sales (HMS) as its narrow web sales representative throughout North America. HMS will market Hanita Coating’s line of PET topcoated films, designed to withstand demanding applications and harsh conditions.

Hanita is a coating, metalizing and laminating company specializing in the manufacture of topcoated polyester label facestock, digital print media, window films for solar control and glass security, high performance barrier packaging, and RFID tag antennas. The glossy topcoat on its films ensure good ink anchorage when printed by rotogravure, flexography, letterpress, offset, screen, and UV cure printing processes. Films are available in high gloss silver, gold, white and super-clear, in gauges from 1⁄2 mil (12 micron) to 7 mil (180 micron).

Hutchison Miller Sales, New Britain, PA, USA, markets a range of products for pressure-sensitive adhesive coaters and label converters, as well as some highly specialized packaging companies in North America. Companies represented by HMS include Clarifoil, Hazen Paper Company, Jessup, LSH Materials, and Monosol. The products, which include papers, films, foils and fabrics and/or a combination of these components, can be custom engineered to meet the specific and unusual needs of customers.
