January 19, 2011

The company will market Rotocontrol’s inspection, slitting, rewinding and diecutting equipment.

Rotocontrol, a manufacturer of inspection, slitting, rewinding and diecutting machinery based in Ahrensburg, Germany, has named Sky Engineering its sales agent in Thailand.

SKY has more than 20 years experience in selling equipment and machinery for the plastic industry, and is also active in flexible packaging thermoforming and finishing applications. SKY represents more than 20 leading manufacturers, including Advanced Vision Technology and Multi Print Systems (MPS).

Somkiat Sripraprutchai, SKY managing director, says, “Rotocontrol visited Thailand last month to finalize the agreement and to meet several label converters. Feedback from these meetings was positive, indicating that Rotocontrol’s leading edge inspection, slitting, rewinding and diecutting finishing machines will have a significant presence in Thailand.”
